The Greater Toronto Scout Foundation (GTSF) supports scouting activities in the city of Toronto and other communities in the Greater Toronto Area. We raise and manage funds that support financial assistance, community outreach, outdoor programs, development, and volunteer recruitment.

Highlights

In 2021-2022 we granted

Scouts Canada $200,000 for a marketing campaign centred on the Greater Toronto Area matching funds of $5000 to a group in Burlington to replace their equipment and trailer that had been stolen

$1,000 each to over 130 youth and their Scouters attending the Harlem Jamborette
$20,000 for the Haliburton Scout Reserve to clean-up after major storms
$35,000 to repair the pool at Woodland Trails Scout Camp
$50,000 to subsidize youth attending summer camp at Woodland Trails Scout Camp

In 2022-2023 we granted

Scouts Canada $40,000 for a drone pilot project at camps

$70,000 to replace program equipment at the Haliburton Scout Reserve
$32,000 for over 130 youth to attend summer camp at Woodland Trails Scout Camp and the Haliburton Scout Reserve
$35,000 to support summer camp program delivery at Woodland Trails Adventureland and the Haliburton Scout Reserve
