About GTSF
The Greater Toronto Scout Foundation (GTSF) supports scouting activities in the city of Toronto and other communities in the Greater Toronto Area. We raise and manage funds that support financial assistance, community outreach, outdoor programs, development, and volunteer recruitment.

Serving our comminity since 1985
history
The Greater Toronto Scout Foundation (GTSF) was established in 1985 to assist with the long term funding of what was then the Scouts Canada Greater Toronto Regional Council.
The purpose of the GTSF is to receive donations, legacies, gifts, grants and bequests, and maintain funds and other properties and to apply from time to time all or part there-of and the income derived there-from for charitable purposes including, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, instructing youths in the principles of discipline, loyalty and good citizenship.
Over the years, hundreds of families, unable to afford program costs, have received financial assistance and organizations have received grants to assist with program facilities and program delivery. GTSF generates income from fundraising events and also manages an investment portfolio that was initially established by proceeds from the Estate of John W. Billes, as well as subsequent donors.
